Here at the hotel – did a last check of gear, double checked maps, re-read websites on Baxter State Park… I am ready! It is like Christmas Eve – when I was a little kid… could not wait to wake up and see what Santa left. Tomorrow, I can’t wait to get on the trail and see what my journey has in store for me, to accomplish the small goals, and ultimately the big goal of walking the entire trail.
